I used to be careless about very small mistakes when trading Binance P2P
At one point, I thought P2P was pretty simple.
See a good offer. Place an order. Transfer money. Wait for crypto.
Done.
Then I started noticing the small mistakes I used to make.
One time I picked an offer because the price was good, but I read the payment instructions too late. Only then did I realize the payment method wasn’t convenient for me. The order itself was fine. I just wasted extra time because I didn’t read everything from the start.
Something similar happens with messages like:
"I’ve already transferred."
"Can you check for me?"
"I already sent the photo."
Before, I used to get quite impatient when reading these messages. Now I open my banking app first. If the money hasn’t arrived, I won’t release.
That’s it.
Another mistake I completely stopped making is moving the conversation somewhere else. If I already have an active order on Binance P2P, I keep the information in that order itself. If anything needs to be checked, I check it there.
And I also don’t try to finish a trade just because the other party is pressuring me.
They might be in a hurry.
I don’t need to.
If a detail makes me feel something isn’t right, I pause for a few minutes to check. A good price still has other offers. An unfinished transaction is not necessarily a problem.
I like this way of thinking more after trading for a while.
Being a bit slower doesn’t cost me much money.
A wrong release is different.
