🚨 Exposing the "Off-Platform P2P Trading" Trap P2P - Don’t Get Out of the App or You’ll Lose Everything!
Hey everyone, continuing our survival series on Binance P2P. Today, we’ll uncover a “sweet” scam known as: luring you into trading off the platform (Zalo/Telegram). Many newcomers have lost money just because they wanted it to be “fast and easy” or “cheaper fees.”
🔴 The scam script: “Go chat outside to do it quickly”:
The scammers post a buy/sell order with an EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE PRICE (usually dumping below the market to lure you).
When you match the order, they immediately message inside the Binance chat: “Add my Zalo/Telegram number 09xxx so I can send the receipt faster” or “My app is lagging—go to Zalo for our trade, I’ll add extra money.”
Once you agree to connect on Zalo/Telegram, they will send a fake transfer invoice (Fake Bill) or send links containing malicious code.
Because you trusted messages outside the app, you accidentally tapped “Unlock USDT.” Right away, they block you on every front. At that point, Binance can no longer help you!
🟢 3 Rules of Steel Discipline:
❌ DO NOT provide personal phone numbers, Zalo, or Telegram accounts in the P2P chat window.
❌ DO NOT click any strange links sent by the other party.
❌ DO NOT agree to cancel the order on Binance to transfer money directly to each other.
✅ The power of the Escrow system:
On Binance P2P, when you open an order, the coins will be locked in escrow. Only when you receive the real payment and confirm, will the coins be released. This is an absolute protective shield.
👉 If anyone lures you to trade off-platform, immediately hit REPORT on that scammer to clean up the P2P environment!
Slow but steady—don’t lose your money just because of a few sweet words!
