The best P2P price is not always the best deal.
When buying or selling on Binance P2P, I don’t just look at the price.
Before placing an order, I usually do a quick check:
1. Partner profile: Merchant, completion rate, and transaction history.
2. Whether the payment account name matches the information on the order.
3. That the transaction and any important exchanges are kept within the order itself.
4. If there’s any request to change accounts, move it outside the platform, or pressure you to process too quickly, then pause.
Especially if you’re a seller:
If the money hasn’t truly arrived in your account, don’t Release the crypto.
Don’t rely on screenshots or a message saying "I’ve transferred." Check it yourself in your banking app or payment app.
If there’s an issue, keep the Order ID, receipt, and chat history to use when you need to Appeal or contact Support.
P2P has escrow and support mechanisms, but I still have to follow the correct process so those layers of protection can work as intended.
Don’t choose a trade just because it’s cheaper by a few points.
