Binance, Gate and other mainstream exchanges have taken the lead in listing traditional financial products—gold and silver, U.S. stocks, A-shares, foreign exchange, and more… Gate has even started running an A-shares futures trading competition!
This shows that the crypto market really doesn’t have much liquidity anymore—it needs to attract people from traditional financial markets into it!
But doing this comes with two problems: 1) If you bring in the legitimate troops, aren’t you really afraid of a crackdown? 2) Crypto capital becomes even more dispersed, yet even more concentrated in the super mainstream coins like BTC, ETH, and BNB—while small altcoins can just die off one by one!
Some of the altcoins that have been going up recently may be ones that will “bleed” a last round of investors before they run away after death.
In the future, there may be no more altcoin season; making money in crypto will become harder and harder!
Also, personally, I’m bullish on China’s A-share market. In China, they are indeed trying to guide money from the real estate sector into the stock market. In the future, A-shares could potentially replicate the long bull run of the U.S. stock market! China, as the largest industrial “Cthulhu” in human history, has this potential!
