🔐 **Binance P2P Transactions: 5 things I always check before clicking confirm**

P2P is pretty simple, but if you’re careless at even one step, you can run into trouble. If you’re new to trading, I think this checklist is well worth saving:

1️⃣ **Check the trader’s information**
Check whether the name, payment method, and details shown on the order match.

2️⃣ **Don’t trust transfer proof screenshots**
The buyer may send a “paid” screenshot, but I only confirm after I **check my account myself and see the money actually credited**.

3️⃣ **Don’t trade outside Binance**
If the other party asks you to move to Telegram, WhatsApp, or another platform to process the transaction, it’s best to stop.

4️⃣ **Don’t provide OTP, passwords, or 2FA codes**
Binance doesn’t need this sensitive information for you to complete a P2P transaction.

5️⃣ **If there’s an issue, use Appeal**
If a dispute happens, use the complaint/appeal function right on Binance P2P and provide complete transaction evidence.

👉 A simple tip I always remember: **Money is not truly in your account yet = you haven’t confirmed the transaction.**

Safe P2P trading isn’t hard—the key is not to skip the basic checks.
