There’s one habit I always do before I click “Buy” on Binance P2P, and it only takes me under 2 minutes.
Once, I was buying crypto on Binance P2P. After chatting, the counterparty asked me to switch to another payment account because “the old account is having an error.”
Instead of handling it outside, I kept the entire transaction within the P2P order, double-checked the details, and only continued when everything matched the order.
Since then, I’ve had a very short checklist:
🔒 1. Always trade on the platform
Binance P2P has Escrow (collateral), in-platform chat, and an Appeal/Dispute process. Don’t remove these layers of protection by trading separately via Telegram, Zalo, or WhatsApp.
🛡️ 2. Check the counterparty before trading
Look at the Merchant badge, completion rate, and transaction history. For large trades, I prioritize partners with clear track records.
💳 3. Match payment information
The name on the payment account must match the information in the order. If there’s a request to change the account mid-way → pause and re-check.
💰 4. Release only after you’ve received all the money
Don’t trust screenshots or messages saying “I’ve transferred.” Open your banking app and confirm the funds have actually arrived in your account, then Release the Crypto.
🚩 5. Spot Red Flags
Being pressured, requests to change payment details, unusual transfer content, or a request to trade outside the platform—those are signals for me to stop.
📁 6. Keep evidence
Save the Order ID, receipts, and chat history. If anything goes wrong, this is crucial information for an Appeal or contacting Binance Support 24/7.
Confident trading = check first + follow the correct process + don’t rush when something seems off.
