I think Cryptorank’s conclusion makes a lot of sense. Among the top 100 tokens by market cap, most will eventually disappear. I haven’t conducted any statistics myself, but I can feel it—every year the rankings change. Back then, even LTC’s market cap was higher than Ethereum’s. At that time, BCH could also make it onto the list. When I looked at market cap rankings in 2017, the difference from 2021 was huge. And now, when I look again, many of the coins I used to know are gone. I remember XLM could also rank at the time, and so could XRP.

So I’d still suggest to everyone in the coin community: make some money with a small-cap/rug-pull-style “altcoin” trade and then leave. Don’t put your faith in them.
