A Coldcard wallet user has reportedly lost funds worth approximately 1.6 million CAD (equivalent to $18.25 BTC) despite claiming they followed all security procedures correctly.
The victim, Jonathan Goodman, said that after hearing about a cybersecurity incident on 29/7, he checked his wallet and found that his entire $BTC balance had “disappeared.” Goodman has since reported the incident to the police but doesn’t have much hope of getting the assets back.
