🚀 Attention crypto enthusiasts! The government of Javier Milei in Argentina has eliminated the option of legalizing undeclared crypto assets in its reform package. The "regularization of assets" proposed a single tax of 5% to 15% depending on the declaration period, but it was withdrawn to speed up the parliamentary process.

Despite this, a decree was approved in December allowing debtors to pay in currencies "not recognized as legal tender" in Argentina.

Milei, who took office amid rising inflation, has not spoken publicly about crypto assets since. However, in January he promised not to legally oppose the creation of local currencies by provincial authorities.

What do you think about removing this option? Do you think Argentina will adopt more measures related to cryptocurrencies in the future? Comment below! 💬
