đŸ§” 60 seconds to understand Newton | Part 2

Why does AI need permissions before moving your money?

Imagine you give the keys to your house to someone you trust to take care of it while you’re away.

You tell them: "You can enter, but don’t touch anything of value."

They go in. And since nobody is watching, they move a few things. Nothing major. But not what you agreed on.

Now imagine that instead of a person, it’s an AI agent. And instead of your house, it’s your onchain capital.

The AI does what it was programmed to do. Fast. Without stopping. Without asking for confirmation. And if market conditions have changed since you set it up, it doesn’t know. It simply executes.

That’s the problem that @NewtonProtocol solves with its Mainnet Beta.

Before the AI agent moves any funds, Newton checks in real time:

- Are the current market conditions still compatible with this action?
- Is the destination address safe?
- Are the price data it’s using reliable?
- Does the action comply with the policies you defined?

If everything checks out, proceed with cryptographic certification. If anything fails, it doesn’t go through.

It’s not about limiting the AI. It’s about giving it the right permissions so you can trust it.

$NEWT feeds the network that makes this decentralized verification possible.

If an AI managed your portfolio, what condition would you verify first before letting it operate? 👇
