CryptoQuant: BTC flows from whales on Binance sharply decreased in December.

Analyst data shows a noticeable cooling of activity among the largest #BTC holders on the deposit side at Binance exchange. In December, the total inflows from whales decreased by almost half - from approximately $7.88 billion to $3.86 billion in just a few weeks.

We're talking specifically about large wallets, which are traditionally seen as one of the key sources of potential supply pressure. When such participants actively deposit BTC onto exchanges, the market usually prices in the risk of sales. The current picture is the opposite: the largest holders have noticeably slowed down the pace of transferring coins to Binance.

This can be interpreted as a decrease in intentions to fix positions or, at the very least, an absence of urgent necessity to sell at current prices. For the market, this is an important signal, especially in conditions where the price remains sensitive to liquidity flows.

At the same time, the overall decrease in activity does not mean the complete disappearance of the influence of whales. Individual spikes are clearly visible on the chart:

- about 466 million $ fell into the range of wallets 100-10,000 BTC,

- even more 435 million $ - in the segment 1,000-10,000 BTC.

Overall, the current picture indicates a decrease in systemic pressure from whales, but not the disappearance of the risk of sharp movements.
