A recent study issued by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) revealed that more central banks around the world intend to reduce their holdings of the U.S. dollar over the coming decade than institutions that plan to increase those holdings, in a shift considered the first of its kind since this survey began.
