BlockBeats news, on June 24th, according to CNBC, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour confirmed that the company is in the early stages of planning a potential IPO, but it won't go public until 2026. Mansour stated that given Kalshi's current financials and growth rate, it makes sense to start considering an IPO. He said, "For a company with our financial situation and growth rate, discussions about this must happen. People will start to raise this question. We're basically thinking about it, but obviously, we don't have answers yet."

Previously, The Information reported that Kalshi is in early discussions regarding a potential IPO, but the listing might not happen until late 2027 or 2028. Mansour did not provide a more specific timeline on Wednesday, only stating that the IPO will not occur in 2026.

Kalshi has seen rapid growth over the past year. By the end of June 2025, the company's valuation is projected to reach $2 billion; in May of this year, Kalshi announced the completion of its Series F funding round, boosting its valuation to $22 billion. Industry observers in the prediction market believe that one of the reasons for the rising valuation is the market opportunities brought by institutional traders. While retail users have driven Kalshi's growth, the company has begun to adjust its messaging and product development direction to enhance its appeal to Wall Street.

Regarding the potential insider trading issues in the prediction market, Mansour stated that Kalshi has taken steps to enhance market integrity, including strengthening measures to identify traders' employers and enforcing KYC requirements. Kalshi has filed cases against individuals to demonstrate that its efforts to curb insider trading concerns are paying off. Establishing market integrity in prediction platforms 'is a challenge, but not impossible.'
