🚀 OpenGradient is worth keeping an eye on: AI on-chain is more than just a concept

OpenGradient positions itself as an open intelligent network, focusing on integrating AI computation, model hosting, secure reasoning, and on-chain agent deployment into decentralized infrastructure. To put it simply, it aims to tackle a crucial issue: AI results need to be not only usable but also verifiable.

From the publicly available info, OpenGradient already supports high-performance verifiable AI reasoning, emphasizing zkML, TEE proofs, and EVM compatibility. The project’s website mentions that there are over 4500 models, more than 2 million verifiable AI inferences, and 500,000+ zkML proofs and TEE attestations, indicating that it’s not just stuck at the narrative level but is pushing towards real AI infrastructure.

Personally, I’m more focused on two key points: First, after combining AI agents with on-chain applications, there will be a future need for verifiable execution environments; second, if a decentralized model repository can lower the barriers for developers, it could become a crucial infrastructure in the AI + Crypto space.

Of course, $OPG related ecosystems are still in the early stages, so keeping an eye on project progress, testnet activity, developer adoption, and real-world application deployment is more important than just chasing trends.
