$SEI enters the Xiaomi ecosystem

🔵 Starting from 2026, all new Xiaomi smartphones (except in China and the USA) will come pre-installed with the Sei app.

🔵 This is a wallet + web3 platform tied to Google/Xiaomi ID, with security and access to top dApps.

🔵 Xiaomi will also promote Sei among existing users through its advertising network. The company ranks among the top 3 smartphone manufacturers in the world, with 168 million devices sold in 2024. 13% of the global market.

🔵 Sei gains direct access to hundreds of millions of users without onboarding through app stores.

🔵 Sei is also launching a 5 million dollar grant for mobile products. The next step in the partnership will be stablecoin payments for Xiaomi retail and its 20,000 offline stores.
