Genk!! There is some new news! Senator Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming, USA, said that the US government might buy Bitcoin! Yes, you heard that right, Bitcoin!

She said they want to buy 1 million Bitcoin in 5 years, and that would be about 5% of the total Bitcoin supply! That's huge, right? And she said they would buy 200,000 Bitcoin every year!

Lummis stated that Bitcoin could be a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation. And, they want to use Bitcoin reserves to pay off the national debt of the US, which is already $35 trillion!

Of course, this plan is still in the proposal stage and needs approval from the US Congress. But, Lummis has already received support from several senators, so hopefully it can go through, right?
