🇺🇸 The Federal Reserve has officially completed quantitative tightening.
On December 1, the QT mode of quantitative contraction, which the Fed began back in 2022, ended.
To put it simply: for three years, the Fed extracted liquidity from the system, tightened the balance sheet, and pressured risk assets.
And now this phase has officially come to an end.
This is a very important event for the markets.
When QT ends, the pressure decreases, and in some cycles, the opposite begins — an expansion of liquidity.
Truly interesting times lie ahead.
