Bitcoin continues to maintain its strength above $37,000 as bulls appear to be returning to the market.

US stocks

Starting a shorter trading week than usual due to the holiday, US stocks jumped in Monday's trading session thanks to the strong rise of technology stocks, led by Microsoft and Nvidia.

At the end of the trading session, Dow Jones increased 203.76 points, equivalent to 0.58%, to 35,151.04 points. The S&P 500 added 0.74% and closed the session at 4,547.38 points, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.13% to 14,284.53 points.

This is the 5th consecutive gaining session for both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite.

Microsoft shares rose 2% and hit a 52-week high after CEO Satya Nadella said former OpenAI chief Sam Altman would join the tech giant to lead a new AI research group.

Shares of chipmaker Nvidia also rose 2.3% and closed at an all-time high before the financial report was released on Tuesday afternoon.

Technology and telecommunications services are the two groups of stocks with the strongest breakthrough in the S&P 500 with increases of 1.5% and 1%, respectively. Palo Alto Networks shares jumped 5.2%, while Intel climbed 2.1%. At the same time, Paramount shares rose 5.6% and Netflix added 1.8%.

US markets will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving. On Friday, Wall Street will also trade with shortened hours. Trading around the Thanksgiving holiday has been volatile in recent years, but November remains the S&P 500's best month, according to stock trader Almanac.

Wall Street will be watching the latest meeting minutes of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), expected to be published on Tuesday.

Oil prices rose more than 2% in Monday's trading session, extending last weekend's gains on the prospect of deeper OPEC+ supply cuts to support prices after four weeks of declines due to demand worries and concerns. about the risk of supply disruption in the Middle East from the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The altcoin market is mixed as Ethereum shows strength above $2,000 while Bitcoin holds above $37,000.

ApeCoin (APE) is the project with the most impressive growth, bouncing more than 9% in 24 hours, trading around $1.52. This is welcome news for APE holders, who over the past few months have seen this token rebound strongly.

Following APE, PancakeSwap (CAKE), the native token behind the decentralized exchange, also jumped 8% on the day and is currently trading around $2.73.

Other projects such as BNB (BNB), Gala (GALA), Gnosis (GNO), Huobi Token (HT), Klaytn (KLAY), Maker (MKR), Trust Wallet Token (TWT), Lido DAO (LDO)… recorded Get a profit of 3-7%.

Ethereum, the second largest digital asset, is up more than 1% in the past day and is trading for $2,025. The asset crossed the $2,000 mark for the first time since July last week.
