Last night at 3 AM, my phone buzzed, and the name on the screen caught me off guard— it was a call from an old follower.
After answering the video call, I could see his pale face: "Sis, I just got liquidated on my whole position, lost 100k." He said he was fully leveraged at 10x, didn't set a stop-loss, and watched the market dip a little, but in an instant, it was all gone.
I frowned and asked, "What exactly did you do?"
He said he was only thinking about flipping his position, without considering the risks. In that moment, I realized: he made a fatal mistake— going all in, digging his own grave!
When I first entered the game, I made a similar mistake. I went all in, watching the market surge, thinking I could make a lifetime of profits, then a massive red candle hit, and my account was wiped out in an instant. That’s when I understood, going all in doesn’t mean quick profits; it’s a recipe for disaster.
Today, I'm sharing my "All-in Survival Rules":
1. Only use 7% of your total capital for each trade.
For example, with a 6000U account, the max you should open is 420U. Even if you hit a stop-loss, you'll only lose 29.4U, which won't significantly affect your overall capital. This prevents a single failure from delivering a devastating blow.
2. Limit single losses to no more than 1.1% of total capital.
If you open 420U at 5x leverage, set your stop-loss within 1%, resulting in a potential loss of about 8.4U, which is 1.1% of your total capital. Even with consecutive losses, you can control risks to the maximum extent.
3. Stay out of the market during unclear trends.
Don’t rush into adding to your position due to short-term gains. Wait for the trend to clarify, with daily candles breaking key levels and volume supporting it before entering the market. A steady approach is the way to go.
These three rules have helped me steadily grow my account and have assisted many around me to move from liquidation to wealth accumulation.
I have a follower who used to blow up his account every month, but after following these three rules, he turned 3200U into 55000U in just 2 months! He said, "I used to think going all in was a gamble, but now I understand, the real all-in is about surviving longer."
Remember, surviving gives you the chance to earn.
If you’re still in a loop of losses, come chat with me, and I’ll teach you how to simplify trading.
