Letting robots spend money has already become a trend. It's not just $ROBO that is doing it; Ethereum is doing it too (see Figure 3), and many project parties that were once on the X402 windfall are also doing it (see Figure 4).
But so far, no one has managed to lay out the underlying system as well as Fabric Foundation@Fabric Foundation . Moreover, the L2 solutions based on the Base network are still just a compromise for ROBO; by the end of this year, they will start building their own L1, at which point ROBO's applications will be much broader, such as in gas and mining.
Why invest human and material resources in building our own Layer 1? Because the clearing and auditing of robot transactions are high-frequency and large-scale. Especially when robots do not have financial concepts or price comparison concepts, ROBO not only needs to create a market for robots to buy and sell from each other but also to establish a payment network that does not overcharge, settles quickly, and is always available for owners to audit. $ROBO @Fabric Foundation #ROBO
Moreover, its imagination is quite high; for example, current high-frequency quantitative trading is essentially robots autonomously doing things, which could lead to Fabric seizing the market.
