Withdrawal Address Whitelist - Withdrawal Address Whitelist
The whitelist of withdrawal addresses is another security element offered by Binance. When the withdrawal whitelist is disabled, your account can make withdrawals to any address. When this feature is enabled, your account can only make withdrawals to addresses that have been whitelisted.
In other words, only those addresses, whatever they may be, that appear on your white list can receive funds from your Binance Exchange account. This is very useful because if you are ever a victim of phishing and a hacker manages to invade your account, they will not be able to withdraw your funds.
How to activate it?
After logging in to Binance, head to your account page and scroll down until you see the Withdrawal Address Management tool. Click the “Whitelist Off” switch to turn it to “On” and you will see a confirmation window like this appear:

After clicking OK, you will need to enter your 2FA code. If you have 2FA disabled, we strongly recommend that you enable it.

Next, click on the Address Management button. You will be redirected to another page, where you can determine which coins can be withdrawn to which addresses. After choosing a coin, insert a tag and withdrawal address for it to be whitelisted. Make sure the addresses provided are correct, check the box and click Submit.

You will be asked to enter your 2FA code again and you will receive a confirmation email shortly after.

Click on Confirm Add to finish the process and you will find the following message:

Now that your BNB withdrawal address has been whitelisted, you can go to your Binance account and check the withdrawal page.

As you can see, you will only be able to withdraw BNB coins to this particular address (or any one you eventually whitelist). This means, in short, that it is impossible to deposit to addresses that do not go through the whitelisting process.
It is recommended that you always have the Withdrawal White List function activated, so that you have an extra layer of security protecting your funds.
