Introduction
As the popularity of cryptocurrencies continues to rise, dealing with the growing number of exchanges and trading tools can be a challenge, especially for new users. To make it easier for everyone to buy Bitcoin and other popular cryptocurrencies, Binance would introduce a simplified version of its application called Binance Lite. The feature is now available to most Binance users.
What is Binance Lite?
Binance Lite is a simplified version of the Binance app. It offers an intuitive interface with a reduced amount of information on the app's home page. Users only see the basic functions when opening the app, making Lite the perfect option for cryptocurrency novices and new Binance users. Additionally, if you are using an old mobile device or have a limited internet connection, Binance Lite may provide better performance than the classic Pro version.
Currently, Binance Lite is the interface that users encounter by default when opening the Binance app for the first time. Users can switch from Lite mode to Pro at any time, depending on their trading preferences and needs. To change the app mode, tap the profile icon in the upper left corner, and toggle the button next to [Binance Lite].

Compared to Binance Pro, Binance Lite has improved usability, making navigation easier for new users. In the Lite version, users only see the prices of the most popular cryptocurrencies on the app's home page, along with a green or red line representing the price trend over a specified time period. Despite the simplicity of the interface, users still have the option to sort coins by popularity, market capitalization, price, and percentage change in 24 hours. They can also tap on a coin to check the price trend in an easy-to-read candlestick chart, which can be customized to show trends over different time periods. Information and news about the coin are also included at the bottom.

Users can buy cryptocurrencies with just a few steps in Binance Lite. All they need to do is tap the [Trade] button on the coin page. Select the fiat currency they wish to use, enter the amount to buy, and choose the payment method to confirm the order. Then, they can see the purchased cryptocurrencies in the wallet. The same applies to selling cryptocurrencies. Tap [Sell] in the upper right corner, or use the [Convert] function to make conversions between different coins.

Aside from the basic trading functions, Binance Lite offers other Binance Earn products for users to grow their cryptocurrency funds. Binance Earn is similar to a savings account, allowing users to subscribe their idle funds to BNB Vault or Flexible Savings, and receive stable returns. Earn products are flexible, meaning users can deposit funds, earn interest, and redeem at any time without transaction fees.
To subscribe to Binance Earn products, tap the Earn ad on the app's home page. Users will see all available coins and their respective estimated APYs.

What are the differences between Binance Lite and Binance Pro?
As we mentioned, Binance Lite is the mode shown by default to all new users. It is easier to use for those who are new to cryptocurrency trading, allowing them to quickly check prices and make purchases from the home page dashboard.
Although in Lite mode the more complex product features have been removed, it is still easy to access the main features that are used most frequently from the bottom navigation bar. Users can tap the yellow icon in the middle to buy, sell, or convert cryptocurrencies, or click on the wallet icon to check its balance, asset allocation, and portfolio value.

On the other hand, Binance Pro offers versatile trading functionalities to meet the needs of professional traders, such as futures trading, options, and margin. The trading interface of the Pro version is more robust, offering charting tools and advanced order types. In addition to a more sophisticated interface, users will be able to trade with other users on Binance P2P, or grow their crypto assets through the various staking plans available on Binance Earn.
In conclusion
If you are an active or experienced trader, the Pro version may be a better option, as it offers more features and trading tools to take advantage of the various products and services we offer at Binance. If you are new to the sector and looking for a quick and easy way to take your first steps, we recommend using the Lite mode first. Either way, you can always experiment with both options as it is easy to switch from Lite to Pro, and vice versa.
