Ethereum expansion project Scroll completed US$50 million in financing at a valuation of US$1.8 billion, with participation from Polychain Capital and others

According to ChainCatcher, Ethereum expansion project Scroll announced the completion of US$50 million in financing. Investors in this round of financing include Polychain Capital, Sequoia China, Bain Capital Crypto, Moore Capital Management, Variant Fund, Newman Capital, IOSG Ventures and Qiming Venture Partners.

According to people familiar with the matter, this round of financing brings Scroll's valuation to $1.8 billion. According to the encryption data platform RootData, Scroll previously raised $33 million in two rounds of financing, and its valuation was not disclosed at the time.
