According to TechFlow, the community-managed Layer 1 blockchain AirDAO has initiated a vote on the percentage of AMB token recycling and destruction on X. The AirDAO committee will use the profits generated to buy back AMB from the market and destroy the purchased AMB. The community will decide the frequency of token destruction.
AirDAO will ensure transparency throughout the process. The community will be able to track the yield and confirm that all generated yield will be used to purchase and destroy AMB. Suggested percentages are 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Half of the selected percentage will be invested in AAVE and the other half in Compound.
Voting opens at 4pm UTC on Sunday, January 14th and closes at 4pm UTC on Tuesday, January 16th.
