"Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon's new series "Krapopolis" has been renewed for a third season and will premiere on Fox sometime in 2023. It is reported that holders of "Krapopolis" surrounding NFT "Krap Chickens" can vote on the show, access behind-the-scenes content, participate in IRL experiences with actors and crew, and redeem rewards for official merchandise and digital goods.
Currently, Krap Chickens can still be minted on the Krapopolis website for 0.18 ETH, about $280, while the reserve price of the series on OpenSea is about 0.11 ETH (about $170). According to OpenSea data, the project has raised 418 ETH (about $650,000) in sales so far.
Despite this, Fox's president of scripted programming Michael Thorn said Thursday that he remains "bullish" on backing the project and that "Krapopolis" is a smart choice. As previously reported, in June 2021, Fox Entertainment announced it would invest $100 million in the project. #dyor, #DOGE, #SHIB
