“The Perfect Storm” will raise the price of #BTC to $1 million
Samson Moe, former chief security officer of Blockstream, presented a bold prediction for the future of Bitcoin called the “Omega Candle”, which will lead to a price of $1 million per coin.
The forecast comes as the approval of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US has caused excitement in the cryptocurrency community.
Moe describes the arrival of a "perfect storm" supported by a variety of bull market factors. The approval of ETFs by the SEC Secretariat is considered a pivotal event in opening up the opportunity for institutional investors to trade Bitcoin conveniently. He suggests this could trigger advertising campaigns aimed at traditional financial markets, attracting more capital into Bitcoin.
In addition to the impact of ETFs, Moe foresees a ripple effect in the Bitcoin ecosystem. He also points to the potential adoption of Bitcoin by nation states, similar to El Salvador, as another potential catalyst for growth.
Previously, #ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood revised her Bitcoin growth forecasts, saying it would reach $1.5 million.
