According to ChainCatcher, Mapxus, the parent company of the Metaverse project platform Honio, has completed a $5 million Series B financing round, led by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Mapxus is a Hong Kong-based indoor map system R&D company that has partnered with NOIZChain to launch the GameFi Metaverse platform "Honio" based on indoor positioning. Honio aims to connect the virtual world and the physical world through a mobile application, rewarding users for the time they spend in physical stores.
