According to BlockBeats, on March 2, yoav.eth, co-author of Ethereum account abstraction proposal EIP-4337, announced that the core contract of the new Ethereum account abstraction proposal ERC-4337 has passed the audit of Open Zeppelin and will be available on every Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible network, including Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Avalanche and Gnosis Chain. Account Abstraction aims to reduce complexity and improve effectiveness by omitting unnecessary details in the Ethereum account system, eliminating the need for EOA and special handling of smart contract wallets. It also allows the use of two-factor authentication, signing transactions on mobile phones using fingerprints or facial scans, setting monthly spending limits for accounts, and more.
