Recently, an anonymous user sent 26 bitcoins to the wallet of Bitcoin’s anonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, sparking speculation about the purpose behind the transfer of more than $1 million in digital assets.

The current price of Bitcoin is $46,899, which is equivalent to $1.22 million.

However, American lawyer Jeremy Hogan on X (formerly Twitter) predicted that the move was intended to force Satoshi Nakamoto to reveal his identity.

Recently implemented regulations by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) require reporting of any cryptocurrency transactions over $10,000. This includes providing name and address within 15 days of receiving the transaction.

“Why? The only interesting thing is that the sender is exposing Satoshi. Under new IRS rules, you must report any cryptocurrency receipts over $10,000. So Satoshi has to expose himself to the public or else he’s breaking the law.”

Estimating Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin Holdings

According to multiple estimates, Satoshi Nakamoto owns no less than 1.1 million BTC. Industry insiders recently speculated on what the value would be in 2025 if a cryptocurrency bull run occurs.

Community members expect the upcoming Bitcoin halving to trigger a new Bitcoin bull run. However, there is speculation as to whether the halving will make Satoshi Nakamoto one of the richest people in the world.

In 2009, when Bitcoin was still unknown to the general public, Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, started mining his first batch of Bitcoins. Although he stopped soon after, he still had time to mine more than a million coins. #比特币 #中本聪钱包
