In the investment field, finding golden eggs is important. Finding a goose that lays golden eggs is even more important. If you want to find a goose that lays golden eggs in the crypto world, the Cosmos ecosystem is undoubtedly a treasure trove. Not only does it have high annualized staking returns and provide stable interest income; occasional airdrop rewards will bring greater surprises; and the current coin price is low, which is a good time to enter the market.

After examining the staking yields of multiple projects in the past week, I picked some projects that I think are pretty good. Of course, you can find more here, and you can choose flexibly according to your preferences.

5-day yield survey

These projects were chosen for three main reasons:

  1. The staking income is almost around 15%, which is a very good annualized rate.

  2. These projects are all relatively good projects. Their prices are at a low point in the current bear market, and there is greater room for appreciation and certainty of appreciation in the future. Among these projects, only DVPN is slightly weaker, but it has a certain relationship with the popular Depin, and there is room for speculation in the future.

  3. Regarding airdrop expectations, those who have pledged OSMO, ATOM and TIA have received airdrops, and other airdrop opportunities are not ruled out in the future.

Below is a brief introduction to the above projects, staking returns, and future airdrop expectations.

Cosmos(ATOM)

Cosmos aims to solve the interoperability and scalability issues between blockchains. It uses a technology called "inter-blockchain communication" to allow different blockchains to communicate and interact with each other. Cosmos also introduces a consensus algorithm called "Tendermint", which is designed to provide high performance and security. In addition, the Cosmos SDK also provides a set of easy-to-use tools and libraries to help developers simplify the development process of blockchain applications. Its goal is to build an interconnected blockchain network so that different blockchains can connect and transfer value to each other, thereby realizing a wider range of blockchain applications and ecosystems.

Its native token is ATOM, which functions similarly to traditional L1 tokens and is used to ensure the security of the entire ecosystem. Holders are eligible for staking rewards and transaction fees for IBC transfers, etc.

One advantage of ATOM over other L1 tokens is that it acts as an "airdrop magnet". Many networks and projects in the Cosmos ecosystem, such as Osmosis, Celestia, etc., have already airdropped part of their token supply to ATOM stakers.

Osmosis(OSMO)

Osmosis is both a very unique blockchain and an AMM. It is the largest DEX protocol in the Cosmos ecosystem. Similar to Balancer, it allows the creation of highly customizable multi-asset pools, but also incorporates elements of other AMMs while also having its own unique features. For example, each liquidity pool is "self-managed" and liquidity providers have management rights over its parameters.

Users receive staking rewards and transaction fees from Gas payments in exchange for network security by staking OSMO. In addition, OSMO is also used for practical use cases such as voting on network-wide governance proposals.

Currently, there are several projects that have airdropped their tokens to OSMO token stakers, including Sei Network, Celestia, Quicksilver, etc.

Annualized return on pledge: 9.68%

Current price: $1.79

Historical high: $11.2 (-80%)

Historical Low: $0.22 (+700%)

Celestia (TIA)

Celestia is the first modular blockchain network designed to provide pluggable thought and data availability layers. It allows anyone to quickly deploy a decentralized blockchain and provides developers with more flexible capabilities to build and deploy blockchain applications.

Currently, there are 2 projects that will provide token airdrops to TIA stakers.

Annualized return on pledge: 16.24%

Current price: $16.46

All-time high: $16.69 (-3.07%)

Historical Low: $2.03 (+700%)

Injective(INJ)

Injective Protocol is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that provides advanced trading features such as cross-chain margin trading, derivatives, synthetic assets, etc. It links cross-chain derivatives trading on Cosmos, Ethereum, and other layer-1 blockchain networks. INJ is the native utility and governance token of Injective Protocol. It plays an integral role in governance, derivatives collateral, protocol security, market maker and relay incentives, and transaction fee value capture.

At present, there are many projects in its ecosystem that have not yet issued tokens. Its ecosystem is still in its early stages and there are some potential airdrop opportunities.

Market value: $3,152,050,690

Annualized return on pledge: 15.86%

Current price: $37.22

All-time high: $44.61 (-16.56%)

Historical Low: $0.6557 (+5500%)

DYDX(DYDX)

dYdX is a popular L2 Dapp, attracting a large number of users and transactions. However, Ethereum's scalability limits the expansion of dYdX, prompting the need for more advanced solutions. Its latest version, dYdX V4, has been migrated to the Cosmos network. By migrating to the Cosmos ecosystem, dYdX V4 will not only increase transaction speeds, but also eliminate centralization concerns. Cosmos' decentralized network enables dYdX to continue to adhere to its commitment to transparency and fairness, providing users with a more secure and reliable trading experience.

Currently, DYDX is migrating from Ethereum to the Cosmos ecosystem, and its ecosystem is still under construction. Based on the fact that it has airdropped dydx to its users when issuing its tokens, it does not rule out the possibility of airdropping to ecosystem projects in the future.

Market Cap: $492,324,383

Annualized return on pledge: 13%

Current price: $2.66

Historical high: $27.78 (-90.43%)

Historical Low: $1.04 (+160%)

Secret Network(SCRT)

Secret Network is a general-purpose smart contract platform that allows the creation of privacy-oriented applications, known as Secret Apps. Secret Apps can be built using "Secret Contracts" that are able to encrypt user data. Due to its emphasis on privacy, Secret has the potential to play a valuable role as a "privacy chain" in the Cosmos ecosystem.

SCRT is its native token, used to secure the network, pay for Gas, and for protocol-level governance. However, as mentioned above, SCRT can have multiple "roles" and can also be used as a private currency with broad utility similar to L1 tokens such as ETH.

Currently, there is no airdrop history.

Market value: $121,126,670

Annualized return on pledge: 14.96%

Current price: $0.45

Historical high: $10.64 (-95.63%)

Historical Low: $0.239 (+94.72%)

Benefit and risk analysis

In general, there are three potential benefits to participating in the staking of these projects at a low point: 1. The benefits from token appreciation; 2. The annualized return on staking; 3. The expectation of future airdrops.

The risk is also obvious, which is the decline in the price of the currency. Considering that we are now at the end of the bear market and the beginning of the bull market, the price is at the bottom. If it falls, its downward space is also limited, so the risk is relatively small. But please do not blindly chase high prices, and be sure to choose the right price before getting on board.
