ChainCatcher reported that Bloomberg reported that former FTX CEO SBF refused to testify remotely in the Voyager Digital bankruptcy case. SBF lawyer Marc R. Lewis asked the court on Tuesday to reject a subpoena from the lawyers of Voyager's unsecured creditors. The lawyer argued that the subpoena should be revoked because it was not properly served and that SBF might need to invoke the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination.
As previously reported, on February 19, representatives of Voyager's unsecured creditors had requested documents from former FTX CEO SBF and some executives of FTX and Alameda Research, and asked SBF to testify remotely in court.
