Introduction
Learning how to access BNB Smart Chain is one of the easiest ways to interact with crypto and DeFi projects. Trust Wallet is a great way to do this outside of a desktop browser. It only takes a few minutes to set it up.
The Trust Wallet app is a mobile crypto wallet that does not require registration. Trust Wallet is available for iOS and Android users. Once installed, you can easily connect your wallet to DApps, including PancakeSwap, SushiSwap, and Beefy Finance.
Trust Wallet is not only for BSC. Trust Wallet also supports other blockchains, including Ethereum, POA Network, and Callisto. In this guide, we will use PancakeSwap as an example. However, the process is more or less the same for most existing DeFi platforms.
Installing and setting up Trust Wallet
1. First, visit the Trust Wallet website and then click on the link for the desired OS.

2. Install the app according to your device. After opening Trust Wallet, continue by clicking [Create a new wallet].

3. You will now see a seed phrase. This phrase works as a recovery password when you lose access to your wallet or mobile device. Keep a copy in a safe and confidential place.

4. After clicking [Continue], you will be asked to repeat the phrases in the correct order. This step is done to ensure that you have copied or written the seed phrase. After entering the words in the correct order, click [Continue].

5. Now, you should have successfully set up your crypto wallet and will be on the [Wallet] tab.

Depositing BNB into Trust Wallet
To use the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) DApp, you need BNB to pay transaction fees. Every time you send tokens using BSC or interact with a smart contract, you have to pay a gas fee.
1. To use BEP-20 BNB tokens as gas fees, your tokens must be sent using the BEP-20 transfer network. If making a withdrawal from Binance, make sure you select the [BEP-20 (BSC)] option on the withdrawal page.

2. To deposit BNB BEP-20, go to the [Wallet] tab in Trust Wallet then click [Smart Chain]. Don't click on [BNB]. This option is used for BNB BEP-2 on Binance Chain and cannot be used to pay transaction fees on BSC.

3. Click the [Receive] button to find your deposit address. Then, you can copy and paste this address or scan the QR code.

Added new tokens in Trust Wallet
After installing Trust Wallet, your list of default tokens and cryptos is quite small. Let's say you want to add CAKE to the list of cryptos in Trust Wallet.
1. Go to the [Wallet] tab and click the icon in the upper right corner.

2. Find the token you want to add to your list, then click the toggle button so it turns green. In this example, we add CAKE (BEP-20), which is a PancakeSwap token on the BNB Smart Chain.

3. Done. Now, you will see CAKE in the [Wallet] tab and all the balances you have.
Connecting Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap
There are several ways to connect your wallet to PancakeSwap and other DApps. You can connect via Trust Wallet mobile browser or on desktop. Both offer the same functionality, so the final decision depends on your wishes.
Connecting with Trust Wallet browser
1. If you are using the DApp Trust Wallet browser, visit the PancakeSwap website and then tap the [Connect] button in the top right corner.
2. Select [Trust Wallet] to connect your wallet to PancakeSwap.

3. If you have successfully connected, you will see the wallet ID in the upper right corner.

Connecting with a desktop browser
1. Visit the PancakeSwap desktop website and click [Connect] in the top right corner.
2. Click [WalletConnect] to start the connecting process. Currently, the [Trust Wallet] button only works when using the Trust Wallet browser.

3. A QR code will appear that can be scanned with the Trust Wallet app. Open [Settings] in the application tab then click [WalletConnect]. Scan the QR code displayed on PancakeSwap then click [Connect] on Trust Wallet.

4. If you have successfully connected, PancakeSwap will display your wallet ID prefix in the upper right corner.

Closing
Trust Wallet is one of the most popular mobile applications that supports a wide variety of blockchains and tokens. The app also serves as a gateway to NFTs and the entire DeFi ecosystem. So, knowing how to access it is important. The steps outlined above can be applied to other DApps as well. Now you are ready!
