What is Binance Lite?

Users will only see basic features when launching the App, making Lite mode a great choice for crypto beginners and new Binance users. Additionally, if you are using an older model phone or have limited internet connection, Binance Lite may provide better performance than the classic Pro version.

Currently, Binance Lite is the default interface when users open the Binance App for the first time. They can switch between Lite and Pro mode easily at any time according to their preferences and trading needs. To change the app mode, tap the profile icon in the top left corner, then slide the switch next to [Binance Lite].

Compared to Binance Pro, Binance Lite has improved its usability so that users can navigate easily. In the Lite version, users will only see the prices of the more popular cryptocurrencies on the app's main page along with a green or red line to represent the price trend over a certain time period. Aside from the simple interface, users still have the option to sort coins by popularity, market cap, price, and 24-hour change. They can also tap on a particular coin to check its price trend on an easy-to-read candlestick chart that can be customized to display trends over various timeframes. Information and news regarding the coin is also included at the bottom.

Users can buy crypto in just a few steps on Binance Lite. They just need to tap the [Trade] button on the coin page. Select the fiat currency to use, enter the amount to purchase, then select the payment method to confirm the order. Then, the purchased crypto can be seen in the wallet. The same goes for selling crypto. Tap [Sell] in the top right corner or use the [Convert] function to convert to various coins.

Apart from basic trading functions, Binance Lite offers other Binance Earn products for users to grow their crypto holdings. Binance Earn is similar to a savings account. Users can put idle coins into BNB Vault or Flexible Savings and receive stable returns. Earn products are flexible which means that users can deposit funds, earn interest and redeem them at any time without transaction fees.

To subscribe to Binance Earn products, tap the Earn banner on the app's main page. Users will see all available coins and their respective estimated APYs.

What is the difference between Binance Lite and Binance Pro?

As mentioned, Binance Lite mode is the default for all new users. This mode is more user-friendly for those new to crypto trading, allowing them to quickly check prices and make purchases from the main page dashboard.

In addition to removing more complex product functions from Lite mode, the main, most frequently used features can be easily accessed from the navigation bar at the bottom. Users can tap the yellow icon in the center to buy, sell, or convert crypto, or tap the wallet icon to check wallet balance, asset allocation, and portfolio value.

On the other hand, Binance Pro offers versatile trading functionalities to meet the needs of professional traders, such as Futures Trading, Options Trading, and Margin Trading. The trading interface in the Pro version is more robust and offers advanced mapping tools and order types. In addition to a more advanced interface, users can trade on Binance P2P with other users or grow crypto assets with a variety of staking programs available on Binance Earn.
