Tariff News - a bit of positivity from the EU and the 'Canadian front'.
#Bloomberg reports, citing sources, that the EU has decided to make concessions to Trump in order to achieve a reduction in tariffs. The measures implemented by the US President have already affected European exports, and after April 2, restrictions are expected to intensify.
The EU is ready to reduce its own tariffs, engage in mutual investments with the US, and soften a number of rules and standards.
Meanwhile, Trump spoke with the new Prime Minister of Canada and didn’t once refer to him as the 'Governor of Canada' 😅. Moreover, he said they had an 'extremely productive call':
'I just finished a conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things and will meet right after the upcoming elections in Canada to work on elements of policy, business, and all other factors that will ultimately be beneficial for both the United States of America and Canada. Thank you for your attention to this matter!'.
We believe that there will be no significant dumps on April 2. Moreover, this date is currently being used as a scare tactic to push retail out of its position.
