PANews reported on November 1 that according to Trustnodes, former MakerDAO technology partner, DAI architect, and Balancer co-founder Nikolai Muchgian was found drowned at Condado beach in Puerto Rico. He was only 29 years old. According to reports, Nikolai returned to social media in April this year and posted some information about US law enforcement on social media three days before his death, and said he had received death threats. Tether founder Craig Sellars and 21st Paradigm co-founder Dylan Leclair confirmed the news on Twitter and expressed their condolences.
It is reported that Nikolai is the CEO of DappHub and a well-known security researcher. Participated in multiple blockchain projects, including dappsys practices such as dynamic atomic combination based on DSProxy delegate call, DSNote universal logging utility, DSAuth flexible authorization mode, etc. He also participated in the architectural design of the original Maker/Dai contract system and created the Balancer AMM. It once prevented attacks similar to The DAO on MakerDAO.
