According to Odaily Planet Daily, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said in a reply to netizens on X that it is not advisable to simplify the Sinsemilla hash function to discrete logarithms because one of the potential goals of looking at hash functions is quantum resistance. We hope to be able to do this once and then fix the state tree from this point on.
