According to BlockBeats, TrueBridge Capital Partners announced on May 16 that it has successfully raised $1.6 billion across five of its funds. The funds include: TrueBridge Capital Partners Fund VIII, which raised $884 million; TrueBridge Direct Fund III, which raised $253 million and will focus on mid-to-late stage tech companies; TrueBridge Secondaries I, which raised $230 million and will concentrate on mixed investment portfolios; TrueBridge Seed&Micro-VC II, which raised $189 million and will target seed-stage and micro venture investments; and TrueBridge Blockchain I, a blockchain fund that raised $62 million and will seek high-potential blockchain project investment portfolios.

This marks the first time TrueBridge Capital Partners has launched a blockchain fund. General Partner Mel Williams stated that the firm recognized the potential of blockchain technology early on, and the launch of this dedicated fund underscores its ongoing commitment to the field.
