According to Foresight News, data from DotLake reveals that as of the end of April, there were approximately 650,000 active addresses on the Polkadot chain, continuing to grow after surpassing 605,000 in March. The growth in active addresses is primarily concentrated in Moonbeam, accounting for over 60% with a total of 397,515.
However, the number of unique Polkadot addresses with a non-zero balance has slightly decreased, dropping from 6.96 million in March to 6.8 million at the end of April. Additionally, the total number of transactions on the network in April also saw a slight decrease, falling from 11.5 million in March to 11.07 million.
