According to Foresight News, Silent Protocol has launched a modular L1.5 Ghost Layer on Ethereum. The solution is designed to provide compliant privacy-enhancing features for public blockchains, suitable for both retail and institutional applications.
Silent Protocol states that the Ghost Layer uses a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) based system and its proprietary 0VM technology. The implementation of 0VM technology allows the Ghost Layer to advance system status while verifying updates and utilizing the underlying ledger for state verification through zksnarks.
