According to U.Today, the Cardano ecosystem has ushered in a new release, full of optimism about the upcoming Chang hard fork. In Input Output Global (IOG)'s recent weekly report, Cardano's light wallet Lace released v.1.10, which includes a simpler user experience and reduces the time required to create wallets, restore, and hard wallets online. In addition, Lace fixed an issue that prevented some users from using the staking center after upgrading to Lace v1.10. Hydra v.0.16.0 was also released this week, including support for Cardano node v.8.9.0 and Conway block format. The Plutus Tx compiler was also updated this week, and version 1.26.0.0 is about to be released. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson expressed optimism about two major upgrades to the Cardano network, at least one of which is scheduled to take place this year. The Chang hard fork is seen as one of the largest hard forks of the Cardano network since the 2022 Vasil upgrade, which is scheduled to take place in the second quarter of this year. The upgrade plan provides ADA holders with voting rights on proposals, greatly accelerating Cardano's decentralization process.
