A new survey conducted by crypto investment firm Paradigm shows that about one in five U.S. registered voters say they have purchased cryptocurrencies, Blockworks reported. The survey found that of the 19% of voters who said they had purchased cryptocurrency, 19% identified themselves as Democrats, 18% identified as Republicans, and 24% were independents. This data is consistent with a December study by Grayscale, which found that 19% of voters hold cryptocurrency. Of this group, 23% are male and 31% are Generation Z. Paradigm policy director Justin Slaughter said the survey found that 6% of cryptocurrency holders hold cryptocurrencies worth between $1,001 and $10,000, indicating a large number of people with a vested interest.
