According to TechFlow, Stacks co-founder Muneeb.btc expressed his views on Bitcoin L2 on X, saying that programmable L2 will fully unleash the potential of BTC, and Bitcoin L2 may rise rapidly in the next cycle and become a top category.
Muneeb.btc said that BitVM is a game changer because it is possible to transfer trustless BTC to L2. He predicts that there will be 3-5 new L2 launches in the next 6 months and more than 10 launches in 12-18 months. He believes that with the influx of new developers and capital, Bitcoin L2 may rise rapidly in the next cycle and become a top category.
