According to Blockworks, crypto advertising has become popular again as Bitwise, Hashdex and VanEck scramble to prepare for Bitcoin ETFs to gain better positioning. All three companies have released advertising videos in the past two weeks. Bitwise's ad borrows from the famous "The Most Interesting Man in the World" campaign of beer brand Dos Equis, inviting actor Jonathan Goldsmith to say: "Do you know what's the most interesting thing right now? Bitcoin." VanEck's ad takes a different approach, with the 19-second short film using a series of visual references related to Bitcoin. With the approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF likely imminent, the current enthusiasm around ad production seems to be focused on ETFs. And with the Super Bowl less than two months away, cryptocurrencies may return to the highest stage in the advertising world.
