According to Decrypt, the crypto game studio Mirai Labs has migrated its entire ecosystem to its own Avalanche subnet. Mirai Labs is the company behind the blockchain game Pegaxy, and also developed the PGX token, Petopia app, Mirai app, and Mirai Pay. Mirai Labs CEO and co-founder Corey Wilton said that Mirai's CTO Steve Nguyen prompted the company to turn to Avalanche. Now, the crypto game studio has migrated to its own Avalanche subnet and transformed its Pegaxy game governance token PGX into the official Gas token of the subnet. Mirai Labs joins a growing number of game developers, such as the team behind the upcoming first-person shooter Shrapnel and Off the Grid, who are building their own Avalanche subnets.
