According to Cointelegraph, Google will allow non-fungible token (NFT) games to be advertised and promoted on its platform starting September 15. In addition, the Ethereum-based NFT project Milady Maker was exploited by a developer within its ecosystem to steal $1 million worth of fees from the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) Remilia behind it.

It is reported that CNA Financial, an American commercial insurance company, excluded NFT coverage from a $20 million policy. According to Sebastien Borget, co-founder and chief operating officer of The Sandbox, while the metaverse may not have received much attention in Western countries, it is very popular in Asian markets such as Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.
