Hayden Adams said that most of what Richard Burton said was untrue, but he was still grateful for his contribution to Uniswap.

In response to the “accusation” of former Balance CEO Richard Burton, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams responded:
/ Ric was one of many early supporters I met about 8 months into developing Uniswap.
/ I've been hesitant to dispute this since he is currently suing me (most of his lawsuits have been dismissed), but I wanted to share some details to help set the record straight.
/ Ric once had the opportunity to invest in Uniswap. I gave him a SAFE with no amount filled in so that he could fill in the amount he wanted to invest. He did not invest, saying that it was because Balance only had enough funds to support it for one month at the time.
/ Ric confused timing and facts with his rejection of investment with his previous funding, to clarify, he gave me a grant early on and later declined the investment opportunity. When I later offered to pay it all back, he refused.
/ Ric’s statement that it was his offer to raise money from Paradigm was also false. I met Paradigm researcher Dan Robinson at Flashbots co-founder Phil Daian's apartment before I met Ric, we became friends, and Dan introduced Paradigm after joining.
/ Ric’s assertion that his breach of contract claim would go to trial is also a lie, it has already been rejected by the judge and is a matter of public record.
/ I could go on and on, there are so many lies in his recent tweets. Having said that, I eventually stopped contacting Ric because he treated everyone around him badly, including my coworkers and friends.
/ Nonetheless, I would like to thank Ric for his contribution to the development of Uniswap. I also believe that he will continue to lie about the thread I posted, but I will not respond again.
