The BNB Greenfield native cross-chain bridge is maintained and secured by Greenfield’s validators through a new relay system based on an aggregated multi-signature scheme. Greenfield validators will run relays to facilitate high bandwidth and fast bridging.
BNB will be transferred from BSC to Greenfield as the first cross-chain move. Greenfield's initial set of validators at the beginning of its creation will first lock a certain amount of BNB into the "Greenfield Token Hub" contract on BSC. This contract will also serve as part of the native bridge for transfers of BNB after its creation. These initially locked BNB will be used as self-collateralization and early gas fees for validators.
