Blockchain Academy has released an exclusive graduation NFT to the participants of the first BuildCamp project, marking the official end of the first BuildCamp project. The graduation certificate, which is carried by NFT, will become a lifelong record of honor for the students, helping them to continue exploring the future Web3.0 world!
Blockchain Academy is a Web3.0 education platform initiated by the Crypto-Fintech Lab of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which aims to impart Web3.0 knowledge and skills to users. It uses blockchain concepts and various interactive technologies to perfectly integrate knowledge acquisition with personal experience, with the aim of "giving people skills" to equip learners with all kinds of knowledge so that they can enter the Web3.0 world at any time. Blockchain Academy's users are not restricted by region or age. Anyone who wants to enter the Web3.0 world can become a listener of Blockchain Academy and learn the basic concepts, practical skills and thinking patterns of the crypto world.
As a large platform focusing on Web3.0 education, Blockchain Academy and the Blockchain Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology jointly organized BuidlCamp, a large-scale Web3.0 event that integrates education, competition, and job hunting. The first BuidlCamp has more than 3,000 campers, bringing together students from more than 30 top universities including the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Yale University, and Cambridge University.
Participating professors include Vice President Wang Yang of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Chen Kanie, Director of the Blockchain Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Law Wai-shun, Visiting Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Peking University, Professor Lu Haitian, Professor of the School of Business of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Director of Mainland Affairs Development, Professor Ayesha Kiani, Professor of New York University and COO of Ledger Prime, Professor Alex Preda, Professor of King's College London, and Professor Cai Wei, Director of the Human-Cloud System Laboratory of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).
Participating organizations include Moon Landing Workshop, Hong Kong Blockchain Association, MEXC, Winkrypto.io, GeekCartel, AWS, Blackpin, Distributed Capital, CMT Digital, ZhenFund, GBV, JLL, etc.; media partners Panony, Chain Catcher, BlockTempo, Rhythm, Marsbit, WU Blockchain, Chain News ABMedia, etc. also participated in the process.
The 13-week training camp includes three parts: training courses, professor guidance, and hackathon competitions. Everyone can participate for free. Professors from top universities in Hong Kong and the world, as well as experts in the blockchain industry, will teach students participating in the training camp online, leading them to explore the world of Web3.0 in the form of lectures and physical training. After the training, a hackathon competition mentorship program will be held for students, providing Campers with the opportunity to independently create Web3.0 projects, and use their entries to meet industry elites and young talents from all over the world, open up new areas with self-innovation, and explore the world of Web3.0!
As the first educational activity of Blockchain Academy, BuidlCamp not only covers the hot topics of blockchain technology in the course setting, but also breaks the framework of traditional training camps and introduces elements such as mentor guidance and job hunting. While focusing on the practical application of skills, the training structure becomes more three-dimensional and complete. From an overview of the blockchain world to the ecosystem of different languages, to deeper technical teaching, elites and professional professors from the Web3.0 industry will take participants to appreciate the full picture of the Web3.0 world from the shallow to the deep, presenting rich professional knowledge, providing campers with opportunities to practice what they have learned, and providing a platform for campers to communicate directly with Web3.0 practitioners, so that campers can have a more comprehensive conception of the project and even make it a reality. Bring more career opportunities to campers and provide high-quality talents for the blockchain industry!
The special NFT certificate issued to Buidlcamp participants will be used as a permanent official proof of competence. The value of this NFT is not only to prove the excellent performance of students in Buidlcamp, but also to allow students to recall their achievements and seek resonance, leaving a record of the user's personal qualifications in the blockchain world. It can also reflect personal abilities and advantages in the job search process of students in the future, and it is also official and authoritative in external relations, social networking and other application scenarios!
Blockchain Academy sincerely congratulates the students on their successful completion and looks forward to their continued success in the Web3.0 industry. Blockchain Academy has gathered the most forward-looking technological vision and top-notch teaching resources, and also shoulders the important mission of spreading Web3.0 knowledge. In addition to the current BuildCamp project, the academy is preparing for the second BuildCamp project to be launched in North America, which will provide more students with opportunities to grow and succeed in the Web3.0 industry.
