The official Twitter of NFT innovator Azuki was hacked on Friday afternoon. Project community manager Emily Rose confirmed the news on Twitter minutes after the hack occurred. In the tweet, she warned users not to engage or click on any malicious links posted on the account. The malicious tweet sent a link asking followers to "claim territory" in Azuki's local "garden" virtual world.
The hacked tweets were quickly removed from the account, but administrators still warned against clicking on any malicious links. Although, all damage control is in vain. That’s because at this point, Azuki saw the wallet drain over $750,000 in USDC, 11 NFTs, and 3.9 ETH.
