According to ChainCatcher, Luno, a cryptocurrency exchange under Digital Currency Group, announced that it would lay off 35% of its employees. Its CEO Marcus Swanepoel said that "crypto turmoil" affected Luno's "overall growth and revenue numbers", prompting the platform to take layoffs and other measures.

As ChainCatcher previously reported, Luno said its operations were not affected by Genesis and that customer funds were safe. The platform's founder and chief technology officer, Timothy Stranex, left the company in December last year. (Source link)
